What curve balls hit you today?

Life has a way of throwing curve balls at us – situations that we did not expect. How we choose to respond to these situations makes all the difference.

STOP, BREATHE and ask yourself this question. What am I supposed to be learning at this moment?

We all have hindsight and that includes me too. So, let’s start over today. How can we be better people…today?

There are many mindfulness meditations to listen to and to incorporate into our lives.

Take one minute to stop and BREATHE. Build this practice to at least 5 minutes every morning and evening to calm your mind. If you have children, teach them how to stop and BREATHE.

The breath is the most valuable tool in your toolbox. (Remember, in the second newsletter when we discussed how difficult change is? What’s in your toolbox?) ?‍♀️

Have gratitude for the gifts in your life. What are you grateful for right now? Your health? A roof over your head?

Take a few minutes to sit down and eat slowly. I am just as guilty as the next person of eating my lunch and working at the same time.

Take time to be creative. Color, dance, doodle, draw, journal. These activities all count. ??

Everything that I suggest, I work at daily.

Take time to make mindful choices whether it is eating or spending money.
