My 94-year-old mother died 4 months ago. I was her power of attorney and trustee since 2014. I am extremely grateful that she had all her documents already in place. I enlisted an attorney in 2017 to create a trust for my assets and had it updated in 2021. If you are over eighteen it is crucial to create a will at a minimum. It does not matter how much you have or do not have in material assets.
